Capture in one motion
A global hotkey dims every monitor. Drag a rectangle and you're done: no save dialog, no file to find, no upload step. Works across multiple monitors and high-DPI displays.
Gyazo 2 is a fast screen snipping tool for Windows. Press Ctrl+Shift+C, drag over what you want to show, and a shareable screenshot link is on your clipboard before you've let go of the mouse.

A global hotkey dims every monitor. Drag a rectangle and you're done: no save dialog, no file to find, no upload step. Works across multiple monitors and high-DPI displays.
Every capture gets a short link that's copied automatically. Paste it into Discord, Slack, Teams, email or a bug report, and it unfurls with a preview. Direct image links work too.
Mark up screenshots in your browser with arrows, boxes, text, a pencil, emoji and stickers, and hide sensitive details with the mosaic tool. Saving copies the new link for you and deletes the unedited original.
Press Ctrl+Shift+G, drag over part of the screen, and record a short video to show a bug or a how-to. Stop, and the MP4 link is on your clipboard; it plays in any browser and in chat previews.
Gyazo 2 Utility lets you change every shortcut, copy page or direct links, skip the browser, add a capture delay or a shutter sound, keep a local copy of everything, and choose who can see new uploads.
There is no public gallery: nobody can browse your screenshots. Only people you send a link to can open one, links can't be guessed, and you can lock any screenshot to private or delete it with a click. Every account can add two-factor authentication.

Yes. Gyazo 2 does the same core job (snip part of your screen and instantly get a link to share) and it is free, including image annotation, which Gyazo reserves for paid plans. Gyazo 2 is an independent project and is not affiliated with Gyazo.
Install the Windows app, press Ctrl+Shift+C and drag over the area you want. The screenshot uploads automatically, the link is copied to your clipboard and the page opens in your browser. Paste the link into Discord, Slack, email or anywhere else.
Yes. Press Ctrl+Shift+G in the Windows app, drag over the area to record, and press it again (or click Stop) when you're done. The recording uploads as an MP4 that plays right in the browser and in chat previews, and the link is copied for you. Recordings are up to a minute long, without sound.
Yes. Open "Gyazo 2 Utility" from the Start menu or the tray icon to change every shortcut, and to choose what happens after a capture: copying the page link or the direct image link, opening the browser, notifications, a capture sound, a delay before full-screen captures, saving a copy on your PC and more.
The built-in Snipping Tool saves an image file that you then have to attach or upload somewhere. Gyazo 2 skips that step: every snip becomes a link straight away, with a preview that unfurls in chat apps.
Yes. The built-in editor has a mosaic tool and filled boxes for hiding passwords, emails and names, plus arrows, lines, rectangles, text, a pencil, emoji and stickers. Saving gives the edited screenshot a fresh link, copies it to your clipboard and removes the unedited original, so the version with the sensitive details is gone.
Only people you give the link to. There is no public gallery or feed, so nobody can browse your screenshots, and links use random IDs that cannot be guessed. Every screenshot is unlisted by default; you can also lock one to private (only you, logged in) or allow search engines to index it.
Passwords are stored only as strong one-way hashes, and every account can turn on two-factor authentication with any authenticator app, with backup codes in case you lose your phone. Sign-ups are protected against bots, and the Windows app signs in through your browser, so it never sees your password.
Yes, for free. Give screenshots a title and a description with #hashtags, and search them all from your gallery. The Windows app also records which program and window each screenshot came from, so you can find things without typing anything. The gallery groups screenshots by day, and you can select and delete many at once.
Each account gets 100 MB of storage. When it fills up, your oldest screenshots are removed automatically to make room for new ones.
