Terms of use

Gyazo 2 is a free service for capturing and sharing screenshots. By creating an account or uploading anything you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Your account

• You are responsible for everything uploaded from your account and for keeping your password and API token secret.
• You must be old enough to enter into this agreement where you live (at least 13, or older where the law requires it).
• One person may not create accounts in bulk or use automated sign-ups.

What is not allowed

You may not upload, store or share:

• Anything illegal, including child sexual abuse material. This is reported to the authorities and the account is removed.
• Sexually explicit or pornographic content.
• Content that harasses, threatens or bullies someone, promotes violence or hatred against people for who they are, or glorifies self-harm.
• Other people's private information shared without their consent, such as addresses, identity documents, financial details or private messages ("doxxing").
• Content that infringes someone else's copyright, trade mark or other rights.
• Phishing pages, scams, malware, or images used to deceive people or to impersonate a person or organisation.
• Spam, or use of the service as a general-purpose image host or content delivery network for another site or app.

You also may not attack, overload or probe the service, get around its limits, or access other people's accounts or private screenshots.

Reporting content and takedowns

If you see something that breaks these rules, or content that uses your copyrighted work or personal information without permission, report it through the contact form. Include the link to the screenshot. Every screenshot page also has a Report button.

For copyright complaints please tell us: the link, what work is being infringed, that you own it or act for the owner, and how we can reach you. We review reports and remove content that breaks these terms. We may remove content and suspend accounts without notice.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. You give us permission to store it, process it and show it to the people you share it with, only as needed to run the service. You confirm you have the right to upload it.

Unlisted screenshots can be opened by anyone who has the link. Don't rely on an unlisted link to protect sensitive information: use private, or hide details with the editor's mosaic tool before sharing.

Storage limits and deletion

• Each account has 100 MB of storage. When it is full, your oldest screenshots are deleted automatically to make room for new uploads, and their links stop working.
• Gyazo 2 is not a backup service. Keep your own copy of anything important.
• You can delete your screenshots at any time. To delete your account, ask through the contact form.

No warranty

The service is provided free of charge, "as is", without any warranty. It may change, be interrupted, lose data or shut down. To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The date at the top shows the latest version; continuing to use the service means you accept it.
